Personalised 1:1 cat training plans and coaching
Increasing your cat’s confidence, enriching their life, teaching them to become an active and willing participant in their own care, improving your communication and strengthening your bond.
I’m here to help…
All cats can benefit from training, from kittens to seniors. Enrichment training and nosework stimulate a cat's natural curiosity and instincts, keeping them mentally and physically active, which helps prevent boredom and weight gain and builds their confidence. Positive reinforcement training and pattern games can be used to address problem behaviours or, better still, prevent them from occurring. Cooperative care training, such as teaching a cat to voluntarily enter their cat carrier, or willingly accept grooming, toothbrushing, veterinary examinations and the administration of medications, reduces stress, making these activities more manageable for both cats and their caregivers and improving feline health and wellbeing. Training also improves cat-human communication, strengthens the bond between cats and their guardians, fosters trust, and ensures a more harmonious living environment, leading to happier, healthier, well-adjusted cats who are better equipped to cope with life’s challenges.
Whether you’re completely new to cat training or are looking to hone your skills and learn advanced techniques, for example, training start button behaviours, I’m here to help. As an experienced and enthusiastic cat trainer, I can provide tailored training plans and coaching, setting you and your cat up to succeed. Imagine a future where your kitten or cat doesn’t just tolerate routine care and veterinary procedures but is an active and willing participant, you can challenge their brains and strengthen your bond, or address undesirable behaviours like counter-surfing or door-dashing by training them to lie down and relax on their mat. With my personalised 1:1 cat training package, that future is within reach.

There are several key advantages to remote training sessions over in-home consultations, including:
Coaching is delivered live via camera and the emphasis is on teaching you how to train your cat, not showing how a qualified behaviourist and trainer can do it.
Your cat’s behaviour may be different if a behaviourist/trainer visits your home. Cats often hide or act more cautiously than usual if there’s an unfamiliar person in their territory. I will likely observe a more accurate representation of your cat’s abilities and training progress if I’m not physically in your home.
The presence of an unfamiliar person in your cat’s home environment may cause them to experience fear, anxiety and stress, negatively impacting their behaviour and emotional well-being.
I can demonstrate training techniques and training set-ups with my cats and then watch you implement the training/behaviour modification plan with your cat(s) either in a live session or by reviewing your video recordings.
I can work with you wherever you live.
Online consultations do not incur mileage and travel time costs.
